a casual and modern gathering space, bakery and baR
Originally a bonded warehouse, the space’s industrial vibe reflects the historical focus of production, preservation, and transformation of raw ingredients.
Since the overwhelming and humbling success of Gardener’s Cottage we have been bursting at the seams - thus arose the idea for Quay Commons: a prep kitchen/gathering space born out of the need for more space, that could extend the possibilities of Gardener’s Cottage and its associated projects. In other words, an industrious space to bake our famous sourdough bread en masse; a place to butcher and cure meat; a place to experiment and test new dishes and ingredients; a place to cultivate quality and integrity.
Come by to commiserate after work over some top quality nosh and a bottle of carefully cultivated boutique wine (and at off license prices no less, as the Commons is also a fully licensed wine shop).
Or pop by in the morning for a properly roasted coffee, a warm pain au chocolate, a freshly baked loaf of sourdough, or perhaps even a black pudding and apple brioche morning bun.
