Quay Commons is casual and modern gathering space, bakery and licensed cafe, set in a former bonded warehouse in Leith from the team behind the gardener's cottage.

Our sourdough bread, hand-rolled pastries and cakes are all baked freshly by our talented bakers each day.

We're not only a cafe, we have a lovely shop full of wonderful quality items ready for you to take home. Of course, all our bakery items are for sale to take away, as well as coffees and most of the dishes on our menu, but we also sell the best fruit and veg you'll find in Leith! Choose from a daily, seasonal selection of fruits, leaves and veg from our suppliers Phantassie Organic in East Lothian, as well as staples from Glasgow Market and delights from the Secret Herb Garden like rhubarb and lovage. Nothing for sale at our little fruit and veg market is ever wrapped in plastic.

If you're looking for something new and exciting to add to your larder, look no further. In our shop you'll find lots of goodies like tapenade, caper berries, confit garlic mayo, olive oil, Gordal olives, Ortiz anchovies and tuna, Sobrasada de Bellota, sherry vinegar and whole piquillo peppers.

If you're a fan of unusual soft drinks, come in and discover our selection including Devon apple and orange juice, Karma Cola, elderflower fizz, Hot Ginger Beer, Gingerella and Raw Kombucha.

We have a superb range of local beers to try including Fierce Easy Shirt (hand-brewed in Aberdeen), Cross Borders Braw, Tropical Pale Ale and APA ( microbrewed in Midlothian), and Campervan Brewery's Mutiny On The Bounty (Edinburgh). The selection is continually updated, so do come in to have a look.

Let's not forget wine! All our wines are from the old world and we pride ourselves on putting together a truly unique selection including organic, natural and biodynamic. We'll happily open a bottle for you to enjoy a glass in the cafe before taking the rest home.
