WHAT A SURPRISE!
Well, we had a quite a surprise on Friday when Gordon Ramsay, Gino D'Acampo and Fred Sirieix popped in for some lunch. We had a booking under Studio Ramsay but absolutely no idea who would be turning up. Everyone's chins dropped to the floor when they arrived!
They were great fun and asked loads of questions about what we do. Dale enjoyed a good old chat with them. But what did they eat, we hear you ask. To start with, they all tucked into our sourdough with Oritz white tuna in olive oil, Cantabrian anchovies and Olivar de la Luna organic olive oil. Gordon had the pheasant back mushroom quiche with organic salad. Gino had a Grierson Organic pork burger (butchered at QC!) on a rapeseed brioche bun. And Fred had an asparagus and Isle of Wight tomato tart with carrot, chilli and lemon soup. They all finished with Williams & Johnson coffee. IT GETS BETTER!
We're all still buzzing from the excitement of Friday but can't wait to share even more news with you. Our BEER GARDEN launches this Friday! Yes, you heard us correctly. We've taken over some extra space at the back and will be working hard this week to transform it into the best beer garden on the shore!
We want to kick things off with a bang, so we're throwing a launch party - and you're all invited! We'll be firing up the BBQ and serving free organic burgers and salads (until they run out). The drinks will be flowing from our al fresco bars including Secret Herb Garden Gin cocktails and local beers (keep your eyes peeled on our social media channels as we announce our party partners). And we'll have live music to keep the party going until late. Sounds like a pretty good way to get the weekend started. Join us from 4pm on Friday 6th July, and let's party!
